A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR EXPERTS
We’re always happy when we’re doing our best work. Yet often we find ourselves simply going through the motions, keeping the lights on.
Mastering Expertship is a professional development program that will change that. It will help you step away from the mundane and eventually, you’ll find yourself doing what you always knew you could, but never had the opportunity to achieve.
You’re matched with a coach who’s knowledgeable in your domain. They’ll lay out the process, and talk you through the Expertship Model. They’ll also help you create a list of individuals, who will be asked to complete a survey on your behalf.
The Expertship 360 Survey is a questionnaire that reveals any potential gap between what you think your impact is, and what those around you experience. Sometimes there is no gap. Sometimes, we discover that we don’t really know what other people are thinking. Either way, it’s an incredibly useful exercise.
You’ll attend a five day workshop with other subject matter experts, often from different organisations and disciplines, and together you’ll have to figure out a way through the Expertship Model. You’ll be guided through the process, of course, however the ‘answers’ and insights, will have to come from the collective experience in the room.
At the end, you’ll have begun to develop a Personal Growth Plan to address the areas that require a little improvement, and we’ll give you a Growth Guidebook to help you on your way.
Along with your coach, you’ll receive the results of your 360 survey, and find out if you’re operating as effectively in the organisation as you thought. Taking the results into account, your coach will now help you finalise your Personal Growth Plan.
Two months after the feedback, you’ll have another session with your coach to see how you’re progressing. Another session follows a month later.
Six months after you began the whole process, you and your manager will be surveyed to see how effective the program has been.
